Shri Radhe Guru Maa - This Ganesh Idol is made of 60 kgs of gold

The Lord's idol at Gauda Saraswat Brahmin Seva Ganesh Mandal in King Circle, Mumbai is adorned with 60 kilograms of solid gold! The garland on the Lord this year is mandal has 2.5 kg gold.

The community from Karnataka formed the mandal in 1954. The Gold in the idol is their way of thanking the Lord.

May Lord Ganesha of GSB Mandal bless all his devotees!
